I know I may sound racist...but I just can't stand same-race couples! I just feel like I'm seeing too much of them! I feel like people have the right to have taste in different races and features, instead of just their own. Is it normal to feel this way?

im in a interracial relationship too and it is great but you have a serious problem. You think you are not racist because u like to date ppl of a different race but you are racist against your own race. You shouldnt go around judging anyone based on their race. or their choice of the race that they are dating. how do u even know that all the same race cpls you see are even cpls or that they are not just coming out of a interracial relationship maybe u should try dating ppl based on their personality and not based on what race they are. its just as racist to turn somebody down because they are the same race as you as it is to turn them down for being a different race

i'm serious, when living a relationship with someone from different race, you might be the happiest ever in the first few years, but after you have kids, you might SEE ANOTHER FACE OF YOUR PARTNER. Obviously there's nothing wrong with "interracial dating" (humans can't be divided into races btw) but at the same time there's definitely nothing wrong with people of the same origin/nationality/skin-color dating either.
The reason you're seeing so much of them should be obvious to you, most countries are still quite homogenic (is that even an english word?!) in their population. And I suppose a lot of us are genetically programmed to seek partners from our own "group".

This is on a individual basis. There are some people from different races I find attractive and some I don't. Let's put it this way....If I find one guy from my race LESS attractive then a really HOT guy from another race....Who do you think I'm going to pick? BUT if they are two guys who are of the same hotness I will probably pick my own race UNLESS again the other guys personality is sweeter! I am in a multi-cultural area so, I don't know where YOU are living but I see multi-race couples and children EVERYWHERE I look. I actually would LIKE to see some same race couples! There is a Black guy in my neighborhood who says he ONLY dates " outside of the box". Those are the kind of guys who make girls from other races hate my race! I think that getting on here trying to insinuate that there is something WRONG with those people who prefer dating within their race as opposed to outside of it is wrong is very ignorant! It is a preference! I am sorry but I'm not on a crusade to totally wipeout my race! Well I am in a interracial relationship. and I love the contrast, of my skin angenst his. and I love the skin tone of mixed children. But same race couples don't bother me.
