I really like one of my good friends and he has no idea. is it normal?

I've been friends with this guy for a few years and did not know that I liked him. My mom saw it and my cousin saw it but I denied it. I have never been in a relationship and promised myself that I wouldn't date till second semester of senior year or later. I'm a senior now and its second semester. One of my friends dated the guy that I like just recently. He is the most amazing guy that I have ever met. He's so unique and very outgoing. The only problem is that he's very popular and is always hanging out with girls one on one. Should I try to spend more time with him? I'm afraid if I try something and it will screw up our friendship. I feel like he has so many girls to choose from and that it isn't worth my time. But I like him! AHHHH! What should I do?

    He is probably going to reject you since he is a popular guy, and you seem to be a nerdy, run of the mill nobody. Sure in the movies and kids shows the popular kid falls for the nerdy opposite to themselves, but that doesnt happen in real life ever. If you do get him alone ask to see his ding dong, that could help to break the ice.

        The words popular and nerd going together is oxymoronic. When I was in school I used to beat up all the nerds and put "Kick Me" signs on there back or flush their heads down toilets.

        I doubt its changed that much from my time. Of course now the nerds are all my bosses but I dont catch any flak they know I wouldnt hesistate to flush their head down the toilet again if they muck around with me.

            Yeh there were times I looked back on it that I sort of felt a little bad about what I was doing, but then I just couldnt stop no matter how much I wanted to.

            Does he get "Kick Me" signs taped to his back ever?

    would you promis if i give you advice you would give me yours? well hear goes yes it is 10000000000% normal and what is normal anyway? you guys should get each other together alone and talk about love and then emotional stuff this will leed up to you saying "I love you" or just even say like "I feel emotionaly atached to you" it all helps in the end:-)
