I really like my chemical romance but i hate most of their fans?

I really like my chemical romance, in fact, they're my favorite band after Green Day but I cannot stand their fans. Whenever I watch a video of them on youtube all the comments are about how hot people think the band members are and how they saved their lives. Like shut up, no they didn't, and it seems like a lot of people, mostly the fan girls, just like the band for Gerard Way, who they love to call "Gee". Now of course not every fan of mcr is like that but it seems like the majority is. I believe music should be enjoyed for the lyrics, message, and instruments, NOT because you think "OMG Gee's so hAwT!!!" IIN?

    You're going to hate me but "The Black Parade" did help me through a hard time in my life, especially "Welcome To The Black Parade" and "Famous Last Words".

    I think they are just passionate and want to let the band know that they appreciate the fact that they have helped them through their music. I know I am grateful to them for helping me (even if they didn't intend to) with their music.

    oh totally, music definitely can help you through tough times, but I seriously doubt it "saves lives".

    Awe. I like MCR, but not that much. Welcome To The Black Parade was an odd, but nice song.
    Green day I like, but most of their songs scare me. 21 Guns, Blvd of Broken Dreams, Murder City, and Whatsername are songs I can stand. (:

    In a vague parallel, I like cryptozoology. I have a comparatively vague, shallow interest in the subject. I can't find anyone else who does, yet doesn't give off the aura of being a complete nut job. I actually once had a guy tell me that Elvis Prestley was behind 9/11. He showed me his ten-page essay detailing his claims, at which point I started backing away slowly.

    So, yeah. A bit of a stretch, but still somewhat similar.

    I understand you completely! I hate the fans but I love their music. My friend claims she the biggest fan of the band and saids I should be ashamed that I didn't want to go to their concert. Problem is all their ridiculous fans would be there!!!

    MCR does have a few good songs, not going to lie, but I could never listen to them. Just something about them.
    Greenday, on the other hand = worst band of all time. Sorry man, just cant stand them.
