I really am looking for some advice. i changed my personality.

Alright, I'll try to make this not to be too long since people don't like to read long posts. I was walking in Wal-Mart looking for a gift to buy my wife, and I started to feel very emotional when I was in the toy section. I saw kittens, balls, actions figures and so forth. A message came in my head that said "Don't lose hope in humanity, because not all humanity is bad". After that, I broke down crying in the isle, and was sobbing very loud. People gathered around and asked if I was OK, and I nodded my head. They kneeled down and asked me what was wrong, and I told them that I hurt thousands of people in the past, and that I didn't want to live anymore. They helped escort me to the front of the store, and a person said that if I showed love towards others, I would receive love in return.

I am a person who has thought negative thoughts my whole life. This personality I had was scaring people off, and I couldn't accomplish anything that was social. I had no friends for years, and I had no sex life due to this. This personality turned me into an internet troll, and I did malicious and harmful things to people for about 15 years. After this night in Wal-Mart happened, my entire personality changed. People are walking up to me and introducing themselves; women are looking at me; everything is starting to feel 10 times better; and I feel like I just won a million dollars.

Well, that's pretty much it. The advice I'm wanting is just for people to review this and give me their thoughts. What are the additional steps I need to take? What else should I know? I'm even getting emotional just typing this up. Thank you.

  • I'm not sure if you change your personality or not, but it sounds like you had an epiphany that positive thoughts bring positive actions, which are met with positive responses from others.
There is much to be depressed about in this world. If you become obsessed with that, it can bring you down, but if you acknowledge it, you can use it as a reason to want to make things better.
