I pray to god and it all comes true??

I'm not sure if i believe in god or not, but i do prey almost every night, and nearly all of it come's true.
I prayed one night if i could meet a nice guy the following day because we was going to this big thing, and i did. I prayed that I wished my Nan would get better, and she did etc. nearly everything I pray for come's true.

Is this just coincidence?

If you really believe in something and think it will come true it probably will. It's called faith. You don't have to be religious to believe in faith, or even to believe in God or a higher being (or whatver you want to name it). If you really want something and focus your attention on it through meditation and prayer, it will happen. Focus only on the good positive things, and they will be attracted to you and become true. I'm glad you realized this, now go use it wisely!

In my personal opinion, it is not God but I believe that it is normal for you to believe whatever you want. I do not believe in God, but I will not tell you that you aren't allowed to or that God does not exist. I'm glad that your Nan is ok and you got to see that man though :)

i believe that whenever u pray, you will always get an answer whether it be yes or no, whether you recieve it in 5 minutes or in 5 years.

I think prayer works but not like that. I don't believe God grants wishes. I guess it would be too long for me to explain on here and I wouldn't want to spark an argument but I do believe in prayer and God. It's works for me...maybe not everyone.

People like to think that there is a god that causes all the stuff to happen, I'm not one of those people.. The concept of god just sounds retarded to me

There is no concrete evidence of God, at least of God as we think he might be. I believe there is a higher power but I dont think its anything like how they say it is.

And I dont know how true divine intervention could be. I mean so many horrible things happen to people and they pray and their prayers never get answered. I would say its just coincidence. It doesnt make sense that God would answer some prayers and not others.

all of these people have their own opinion of god for their own reasons so dont pay attention to people who undermine your faith. if you dont have faith what do you have? what awaits people that dont believe in god after death, what do they look foward to after passing? why would you be an honest person if you dont believe in god.what reason would you have to be a good person, is it cuase some how you feel it is right, who decides whats wrong and whats right.

I agree somewhat with LoveMePlz's perspective too.
If you imagine and mentally prepare yourself for an eventuality, then your mind will be wired to receive that experience. Half the effort in doing something is seeing it as possible and how it could all go down. Then it's just a matter of the actions falling into place.

From a third party point of view, while god may be helping you, maybe you put yourself out there more than you would have before you prayed about it. :)

  • No its not a coincidence, god only helps those who pray to him, if you do but things dont come true, he's testing you.

Two events that likely were going to happen anyway are not indications that talking to an imaginary higher power is worthwhile.
Great news about your Nan, hope she stays well.
But avoid 'self fulfilling prophecies', ie if you pray to meet a nice guy the following day, then you will (even subconciously) be looking for a guy, and morel likely to believe that a guy you meet is a 'nice guy'.
Try praying to meet a nice guy when you're not going to a 'big thing' the following day and it's probably not going to happen!
It's been proven that miracles only happen at a statistically predictable rate.
