I only wear black, because wearing other colors makes me uncomfortable

Black isn't the only color I like of course. It's my favorite color (or lack thereof), but I also love crimson, white, dark blue, and purple.
My hair also isn't black. I just feel the most right wearing black clothes.

Nothing's wrong with that. Black clothes are also good if you accidentally spill them or make them dirty, as stains/water spots aren't as easily visible.

I love black too! I'm goth though. But it has it's perks, like slimming me down.

I wear black a lot too. But I do it because I think that black hides the sweat, because I have a horrible sweating problem, no matter the temperature. I hate it and it annoys me, but I do love black so it's ok.

I used to wear mostly black cause I thought it looked cool and mysterious. Then I had a job where I had to wear black and guess what? I got bored really fast and started buying paisley.
Don't let this happen to you.

There's nothing wrong with this per say, but I think it's very likely that you only feel comfortable in black because you have internalized some bs ideas about black being "flattering," so this might be a self-confidence thing. Still normal, but you might be a lot happier if you examined where such ideas come from and whether they're healthy for you or not.

    It doesn't make sense.

Most of the clothes I buy are either black, dark blue, or gray. I prefer darker colors because they are more flattering and they give the illusion of a skinnier body :P

I wear only black. Unless I Have a partner to choose for me. I like to dress how my partner chooses. She knows how she likes men dressed. And I have absolutely zero fashion sense. That whole area of society makes no sense to me!

When I am single, I wear black shorts and black t-shirts.

  • I feel the same way you do, about hair and make up too. You'll never catch me wearing like, blue eyeshadow or a colour lipstick for example, and I've been dying my hair black since I was 12 so I don't even know what my natural colour is anymore. I've had my hair dyed bright pink at the bottom and the bangs before but I always end up wanting my origional black hair back. Its the same with clothing, every now and then I might wear a piece of colour clothing paired with something black, for instance I love checkered patters, especially red and black checkered pattenrs (like red and black blocks?), also blue and black and purple and black. Those are basically the only other colours I will wear and I'll never be caught dead in orange, yellow, green or anything else that resembles a 'summer colour'. I also feel like wearing colourful clothing clashes with my tattoos as the three that are visible, are very bright in colour as it is. I actually had dark red hair for a while when I was 17 but what made me change it was when I started getting colourful tattoos. I didn't wanna look like a christmas tree haha :P

Most of my clothes are either black or blue. I am very uncomfortable/put off at having to wear bright and warm colours like red, yellow, (orange is fine, strangely enough), and I hate wearing brown. Red puts me off because, it tends to be very bright and it can be a little harsh on the eyes. Yellow is harsh too. I would be okay with wearing them if I could find them being used as accent colours.
