I only have one friend

I am in my last year of high school and I am 18 years old. All my friends that I had either went to another school or just act like they don't know me. So now I only have one friend who will actually talk to me. He was my friend since sixth grade. I know his going to get tired of me sooner or later but for now I want to know if its normal to have only one friend?

You are another person who seems to have no idea of what the word friend means. Go find a dictionary and actually read it! Someone who 'act like they don't know me' is NOT, repeat, NOT a friend.

Get some interests, there must be something you like to do. Through your interests you will meet other people and be even more interesting (than you already are).

You are so insecure you don't think this guy will stick with you...
I know of people in my highschool who had only one friend. You could try being friendly with others as well. I found that I make more friends when I stop trying and just be my honest self. A friend is a friend all the same. I prefer not dwelling on extrinsic factors like how many friends a person has. You're content and that's what matters.

It doesn't matter that you only have one friend. Over time, you'll accumulate more. Do you have hobbies? You can meet people through activities. And your one friend can introduce you to other people.
