I never write down when i get my period. i just remember?

Is this normal?

LMAO, I was in red lobster and my friends like ugh, I forgot to write down my period and so, she writes it in her iphone or whatever and then, she says "don't you hate when you do that?" so I was like, "well I never write it down" and she was like *whispering* "what? how could you not write that down. do you not get periods?"
so i was like, "no, i do, i just remember them" and so, her reply was "but what if you forget? how could you not write them down. you're weird"

I laughed, but she got annoyed...

When you're on birth control, you don't need to write it down. It comes on the same day every month. lol. But before birth control, I didn't write it down either. I guessed. And I think that, as women, we can just tell...especially when your boobs get sore and your boyfriend is just irritating you more than usual. Typical pms.

  • No girl i have ever been with wrote hers down, although three girls I've been with have just carried on through their period so it wouldn't matter anyway, judge me if you want but it's just blood and i like sex lol

It's normal. I'm 24 and I don't write mine down. I tried writing it down once after a pregnancy scare, but I always forget. Mine have never been regular, but I don't really see why it matters if they are or aren't. If you're worried about pregnancy, writing your periods down won't help you. I know so many women with children (actually I am one of the few people in my circle without children), and I would say well over half of the females I know had a period after they initally got pregnant, so your period or lack thereof really isn't an indication to your pregnancy status if you ask me. I think it's still probably nice to have a chart of when you've been bleeding but oh well. Not abnormal to not have one.

I write them down so I can see a pattern and just so I can estimate when it's comming on. However when they are regular I easily remember aprox when the last period was and \i can guess aprox when they are going to come on. If you can remeber them then thats better for you

I'm 25 and haven't written mine down since they started being regular around age 13/14. Your body gives you plenty of signs to know your starting and it's not that hard to remember.
