Usually I to lazy to throw on my socks, so I just don't wear them with my khakis, weird? well my feet reek after a day of walking 5+ miles around, weird? lol

    They must be real soft boots these days.

    It would be more weird if you just wore your socks and nothing else and walked 5 miles.

    If its comfortable and doesn't make your feet swell up? Then so be it.

    Actually your boots may be too small? Because without those heavy socks your feet would move around too much.
    Get a pair of boots that are comfortable with your socks ON.
