I never brushed or combed my hair in 10 years since I finished 4th grade. It's too silly IMO and I just wear my hair the way it is like an animal. I used to have very long hair sometime ago and now I wear it short like a military crew cut. Is this normal?
I only brush my hair when i'm washing and drying it, after that it doesnt get brushed til the next time i wash it and tht might not be for a while lol

u never just got in the habit of brushing it, not a big deal, it means ur comfortable on how it is already
im a chick and i never brush my hair i just straighten it you cant tell the difference..and my hair looks pretty jacked up wen i brush it so watever
I never brush mine, either. I'm female. People say you can't tell. I feel like when I brush it I honestly can't style it at all, and it just makes it lay flat against my head. I can't stand the feeling. Hah.
Military cut for a woman is not normal, no. But, if it suits you, fine, I guess. The not brushing your hair thing is also not normal. But, you know what? My mom told me just a short while ago that she hasn't brushed her hair in years, and still never does. She says she just runs her fingers through it to get the knots out. She has curly hair, and she says it looks weird when she brushes it, so, she doesn't. And I'm thinking about going brush free too. I'm co washing my hair too, so I want to see if that and just running my fingers through my hair to "brush" it works. And I have thick, wavy hair.

I'm a 22 year old female, and I don't brush my hair either. But, I have really curly hair and if I brush it it gets all frizzy and disgusting. Hell, I don't even own a brush...I just pick it out in the shower when I'm rinsing the conditioner out.
lol i used to never brush either but i started getting bits that stuck up at the sides all my friends calling me owl boy made me start
i oil my hair once in 5-6 months
and comb it once a month
yeah its normal. what it says about us is, we are busy doing far more important and great things

but i do shampoo it once in 3 days.. otherwise it gets so scruffy and dirty
I ALWAYS brush my hair. Maybe not ALWAYS but I do a lot. I can't stand when it's all knotted and gross. But just make sure you don't get lice and just wash it everyday. I'm sure you'll be fine. But, it's just how you're used to it.
