I need some advice on my thoughts.

I have some really weird thoughts about...killing people. I know it's weird and I know it's unnatural. I need some advice on what to do. Sometime's I imagine seriously injuring people who annoy me or people who I don't like. Even worse sometimes I imagine hurting my parents. It doesn't really bother me and I've told my parents, but they think it's just a 'phase' I'm going through. Seriously people give me some advice on what to do!

    The important thing is that you understand that the acts you fantasise about are wrong and that you do not act upon them.

    We all get angry and honestly, these kind of fantasies are not uncommon, try not to let worrying about them get you down; although the fact that you are concerned is a good sign.

    Relax, take the advice of PinkPuss; especially on the breathing techniques.

    Also, try working out; lift some weights or go for a run or just do some push ups when you feel angry. It will help convert your negative energy.

    everyone has these thoughts, mostly when they are feeling deep feelings of anger or feeling trapped or resentful. It is normal and for those who say its not are lying because in some part of their lives this has crossed their minds. The fact that you have yet to act upon these urges are good. Don't do it, just think of what could happen to you. Be selfish in this instance and remind yourself that if you act upon any of these thoughts your life is completely fucked. But though i think its not just a phase and its normal. IF you really think you need help. Talk to your parent about going to see a counsellor. They really help.

    Do your thoughts consume you? In other words do you find yourself fantasizing about killing people often? For example, let's say you are at the grocery store, and you see a couple walking by, do you start thinking of ways to kill them? When you are driving down the road are you thinking about killing people? While you are at working or working? How much time do you spend thinking about it? Is there a history of any mental health issues in your family? Have you ever harmed a small animal, cat or dog? Thought about it? I suggest once you answer these questions, you will know what you need to do next. Either find a Psychiatrist to help you work through this, or find something else to become obsessed over!

    You sound like you have a lot on your plate (Stressed). Your job and your parents pushing a lot on you? If you can, take a vacation to relax and take you mind off it. Its probably just your brains reaction to a lot of stress. I know when im stressed, Thoughts run through my head about beating the shit out of everyone.
    A vacation is one of the best ways to relax.
    (Florida sounds really nice right about now!)

    If u harmed animals during childhood I would be concerned otherwise i would suggest yoga, meditation and practicing overall positive thoughts. If u are in a negative environment meditate in the bath. Breathing techniques help as well...just give it a try

    I imagin crushing my mums face into the wall so much it makes me smile.

    It dosnt realy bother you... so ignor it. When it gets to the point where it dose bother you and/or other people. Go to you're doctor and ask for help.

    Actually it's anything but unnatural. It's in amoungst our most primative instincts - to fight for survival, which includes killing another living thing that you may see as a threat. Although I'm not advising you to just go with the flow.

    Think of it like this though...a thought is just a thought. It only becomes a problem when you make plans to act on the thoughts. If you have made plans then you need to go to the ER or police or something if you think you are a danger to others.

    Are these thoughts reocurring? If so you might have OCD, without compulsions.
