I miss the 90s already. They seemed like simpler times.... but also so much zanier. It's funny, I was miserable in the 90s, when I was in junior high, and I thought the 90s were lame. But compared to the 00's, I've come to realise that the 90s were actually pretty cool... parts of it, anyway. The Macarena and all the serious, "depressed" cooler-than-thou kids who worshiped their copies of Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, not so much.

    All those that say "Stop living in the past" go fuck yourselves!

    Do you know why many ppl keep talking about how good life was BACK THEN? Because they see the truth about the real world, present and future!
    Present sucks, and the future by the looks of the Present will be even worse!

    Today's youth are just a bunch of fucktards who have fun messing with other ppl (bullying, ect), they are disrespectful and most music they hear is trash music, rap crap, hip pop shit, most of the time they are with they're cell phones, or in facebook, mysspace, whatever, i mean where are those GREAT street games many ppl used to play? Or why doesnt fun involves simply in going to the cinema or going for a walk somewher together,etc?
    And since everyone says our youth is our future you can already see whats going to be the result....

    Yeah i agree that we must "evolve" we must continue to adapt to the world BUT many things from the past that once existed shouldn't have ended!....

    The 90s were probably the best years we will ever see. It was a time of security, a time to make something of yourself. Everyone is so uptight now; like they are just waiting to die.

    Everything about the 90's was awesome. The music, movies, tv....90's Nickelodeon was the shit. AOL sucked but hey, it was all we knew back then and it was awesome at the time. Dude. I wish it was the 90's again. I want to watch Salute Your Shorts. Childhood was freakin' sweet.

    i was born in the 90s, '92. yep i'm a juvie, lol but i remember all the colors people wore and i look at 90s movies and saw how they partied and it looked so fun, wish i can experience the 90s again for just one week now that i'm older.

    I want it to be 1990 right now. I wish I was old enough to appreciate the height of grunge, but alas, I was too tiny when Nirvana, Bush, Soundgarden, Tool, and all the great bands were at their peak.

    I miss the 90s too in a way, 90's alternative (GRUNGE) is the best. It does seem like things move to fast, but life is what you make it I guess, so slow down, and enjoy the simple things in life every once in awhile.

    I think everyone looks back at the good old days life was simpler and easier the longer you go back. Society is now more complex with complex problems. Soon you will look back on the 00s as a simpler time its just how life goes

    Rock music was best from 1989 - 2001. By early 2002 all the good stuff was forgotten and the touchy feely music came in. Thats the only reason why emo's exist today. Movies rocked a lot harder in the 90's too. The Dark Night gives me hope that movies will get good again.

    You were miserable in the '90's when you were in junior high. Now suddenly those years look good. It is called "nostalgia". I have the same view of the 1970's. Junior high was difficult for me, too.

    As an aside, I love the guitar groups/music from the late 60's through the 70's. Disco seemed to usher in the pop era, though, then it all ended.

    I think we need to move on and stop living in the past and using phrases like 'back in the day'.

    Though lets be honest. today's society does have its fair share of problems such as coldplay's new album, the degeneration of british culture, racism, sexism, nazism, muslims, decapitation on the rise, emos just to name a few.

          oddly enough though i actually not a emo, yet i spent most of my childhood in mental institutions and i am currently on social security disability

          and no i am not kidding about that last paragraph

    hell even 2007 sucked, 2008 is the best year and next year will be even better

    everything in the past sucks and the future is always better
