I miss my mother...still

My mom had to move out of my home almost a year ago but every night I still cry that she's gone. I went without seeing her for a long time yet even now that I see her more I still sob when I wake up in the morning and she isn't there to wish me a good day at school or just talk. Do I need to just move on or is this normal?

Moving on is for the weak, solving problems is for the strong. Move in with her god dammit!

  • in a way nothing breaks the magic spell that is mother, not space or even time. you think of her she thinks of you and mother and child are forever together.

It's extremely normal to still have these feelings a year on. My dad passed away in 2008, and I still miss him like crazy. You won't miss her any less as time moves on, but it will get slightly easier. Just remember all the good times you had with her. That will hopefully bring a smile to your face any time you're feeling blue.
