I masterbate using objects like towels, blankets, and pillowcases

I don't really know if this is normal because I never really talk about masterbating with friends or anybody, so like, is it weird? Should I just be using like, my hand or kleenex or something, or do other people do use objects like this as well?
Also I sometimes simulate certain sexual positions using these objects, like putting it on a bed and kind of doggystyling it from the floor or something.
