Every time I hold someone's baby I panic and think I'll move it too fast, or not support its head right and just snap its neck. I mean I would pretty much have to kill myself if that happened. I can hold the baby for a while, but only if I don't move at all. Then I have to have someone take the baby from me, instead of trying to hand him/her off incase I drop them.
That's what I thought when I found out my mother was pregnant shut it was crazy but it wa all good
Yeah, but babies are way more resilient than you think they are.
I used to throw my brother in the air, on the bed, he used to dive bomb off the the bed onto the floor, the kid is just fine. He's a very sharp and intelligent kid, and he is literally been "dropped on his head" zillions of times. Everyone rough plays with him. He is the only kid I know that can run, fall flat on his face and get up laughing.
see, THIS is why i'm never having children. i would feel like dying under a rock if i dropped a baby.
yeah thats cause their helpless and one shake could scramble their brain so don't drop a baby or itll die or be retarded for life
A lot of people do get a tad nervous while holding such precious, fragile beings. it's okay to be nervous, just remember the baby is not going anywhere. if it's anywhere near newborn it can barely even do anything. As long as you stay calm, you dot have to worry about dropping the baby
I used to feel that way even when I first had mine. But after a while you just lug them around.
I think A LOT of people get nervous or scared. They are so delicate, its normal.
