I'm surrounded by superstitious idiots..? help

When I was going to school for training, all my classmates were talking about ghosts and witches as if they believed in them. Now my coworkers are doing the same thing, saying magic and ghosts are real and that the "illuminati" is a bunch of magical beings.

What the hell is wrong with these people? It's like i'm stuck in the twilight zone.

The worst part is that I work in a mental health facility. THESE PEOPLE TAKE CARE OF THE MENTALLY ILL. I'm thinking they should be in there right along with them!!!

    My explanation for ANY superstition:

    If you're religious please show me the part where God said "thou shalt have bad luck if you do any of the following...."

    If you're not religious how the fuck did nature create "bad luck"

    That is a worry, but I guess as long as they don't discuss their ridiculous beliefs with the clients there's nothing much you can do, except seek out co-workers who turn their brains on when they get up in the morning.
