I'm stupid.
Is it normal to be stupid?
And if you, kind sirs, are not stupid, then what does it feel like to be intelligent? I do wonder.

No one is perfect at at any particular thing therefore we may feel stupid if we can't do something
It is normal to have an ignorant moment, I'm sure you aren't stupid, you just might be a bit slower, process things a bit differently. I for one, am intelligent, but have my moments. If ya know what I mean ;D LOL
You shouldn't feel that way, everyone feels stupid at times, but that doesn't mean you are one^^
It IS normal to be stupid, at least from my standpoint. Being highly gifted and highly intelligent is a huge gift, but also a huge curse. I am so far above normal that I have no friends, nobody understands me, I live alone. I have no sex, I am constantly thinking, and learning new things. It's fun to be able to teach people, but it hurts when you realize there are no other people as smart or as gifted as you. At least from what I have known. The amount of people I know, and how many of them could possibly be on my level is less than .19987%% Be glad that you can integrate yourself so well with normal society, chat aimlessly on your cell phones, go to school, get a great job, and find an amazing spouse. I have almost nothing to look forward to other than being happy that I understand the world and its inhabitants better than they know themselves. And learning more.
I know and I couldn't agree more. I am in the "gifted" range and I earned that I.Q. grade on no sleep the night before. Like you, I am too busy thinking and often it's about things that have nothing to do with my life.
Things like: What is beyond our galaxy, what would happen if X didn't happen on Y day, how the losing side of Z war could have won and where they went wrong.
However, I wouldn't give this up for anything as I really enjoy thinking. I just wish my Multiple Sclerosis wasn't slowly draining my life as I find it harder and harder to keep up with school work (I worked in a factory for ten years to find out its not for me.) and it slowly saddens me that I wasted so much time.
Im considered to be pretty smart, but i dont have one ounce of common sense when it comes to things other than schoolwork.
I'm smart; some days it's nice, other days I wish I could listen to Lady Gaga, watch Twilight, eat fast food and be an utter idiot. But I can't. I just can't, and it makes me sick.
Heh well it took me minute to realize what you were saying, so you and I are alike! :D *high-five*
If you truly are stupid, which you are clearly not, you would not have written your question so well.
No, I don't think you're stupid. I just think you have a low self worth of yourself. However, I think I used to be smarter as I was a quick learner and ahead of the class growing up, now I am struggling in school in my late twenties.
Just have faith in yourself and keep trying. The absolute worst thing you can do and it would prove you really are dumb is to stop trying to better yourself.
and we have the same problem.
i feel stupid. but my friends say that i'm childlike. and maybe we are.
but that makes people around love me.
unconsciously, we amuse them bcoz we are 'stupid people' ^^
its fun to be stupid
im stupid
i could tell you anything about science, how the body works etc but im pretty much border line retarded most of my days are spent staring into space
i like it like that
No, you're not stupid, because your grammar in your question was 100%% correct. A
being smart is feeling superior to other people. Other than that there is no real difference from feeling like the usual crap and feeling smart.
Do you feel stupid because of what people have told you?Your grades? Or are you just slower when it comes to common sense things?
people are stupid in different areas. I'm stupid when it comes to driving and following directions, but can be smart in other areas...duh. No one is completely stupid, at least i would hate to think.
Yes you are, we capitalise our "I" in writing and you need to put an ' in the word I'm. Also, capitalise the very first word of a sentence.
Being all honest, I think the thread creator is smarter than you are.
