It's been 6 years since high school but I still have feelings for my high school crush and can't fall in love with other women despite trying. I can date another girl, genuinely care for her, but I won't fall in love for her. I really miss my high school crush, she so far is first and only person I have truly fallen in love
You are wasting your life on a dream. If you didn't even date this 'crush', then of course she is the perfect girl. You didn't really even know her well. Talking to someone in public, socializing with them around school, certainly isn't knowing them. She may have been another person completely, in private.
You have built up this perfect girl who never existed and will never exist and you have thrown all your eggs into this one basket. You might as well be in love with some celebrity; actually, you'd do better being in love with the celeb because that person actually exists. This girl from high school doesn't exist as you picture her in your mind, and she never has.
Time to meet a real girl and allow yourself a chance to be happy.
I hope you've reached out to her by now. Sounds like a good plan, but make sure you don't drop off the face of the earth. My high school crush did and I constantly think of him, despite having had multiple relationships since we last spoke.

Holy crap this is just like me. When the time feels right you just gotta give it a go or you will regret it. I'm planning on asking out my crush this year.
What is keeping you apart from her? Why can't you tell her that or do you know that the feelings are not reciprocated?
She knew in high school that I loved her but nothing happened, either because she already had a boyfriend or because I'm not good enough for her, both I guess.
I guess I'm waiting for when I get more successful. I started a business recently and I guess I'm waiting for success to impress her. I want to start working out too since I have worked out in 2 years but before than I had for 4 years and was really strong and had a decent body.
