Here's a general summary of our history:
Known him for over 8 years
Still best friends
I was dating my current boyfriend when my best friend and I became very interested in each other romantically/sexually. Was "with" best friend, I couldn't break up with the boyfriend for God knows why, best friend couldn't wait any longer, had a real talk/fight, found a girlfriend, we're still best friends.

I'm still in love with him. I don't think we'll ever be together but I think about being with him almost everyday. I'm unhappy in my current relationship (same guy I was dating while dating the best friend) we've "worked out" our problems but I'm lost.

Is this normal to still be more in love with the best friend than the actual boyfriend I've been with through ALL of this!?

    does your current bf know how you're feeling at the moment? if you're lost, do you feel it's because you've been with your current bf when it could have been your best friend? or do you feel lost because no matter how much you try to work things out with your current bf, your past feelings with your best friend is still there?

    if you're thinking about being with someone else than the one you are with... perhaps you should give yourself a break and have some time to think about that. if you realize you are in love with your best friend, it's not fair to have your current bf wait around if those feelings do not change... you tried to work things out with him... but if this isn't the remedy to the very core of you being lost, take advantage of this time to open up about what's making you miserable and lay things out on the table before it gets worse.

      I feel lost because regardless of me and current boyfriend working out our problems...I still have feelings for my best friend. I think I might just tell the both of them everything. Thank you for posting :) This helped.

    well,, we have the same thing....so hard but still if god wants you to be with him FOREVER then god will make a way. i thought my best friend and i mean best best best guys friend donts like me. i mean he only likes me as you know as a sister as a friend b ut when i actually read his diary(Secretly) i just found out.. heheheh creepy but true.... and after he know about it he confront on to me and discuss about it hehehe...... for now we decided to still be best friend.. friends last longer that a relationship....

    just hope for the best and confront him with your feelings because if your in love with then you should be willing to make the risk because when you turn a guy down its like saying hes not worth your time and it could be vice versa

    im going through the same thing minus the boyfriend and girlfriends. we are both single and all i can ever think about is him. he has flirted with me before and i keep getting signs from him :( but i know exactly what you are going through and i think you should brake up with your bf once your friend has broken up with his gf that way yall r both going through a breakup "together"
