    The stupidity of some people? I have ate brownies once and I understood that it would probably not do me that good to eat too much too soon so I split my share in parts and waited around an hour in between them to avoid shit like this.
    You obviously get more weed in your system from eating than smoking so for fuck sake use your brain -_-

    Here is a FREE summary of the helpful stuff you will find in all the 'anxiety-free-life' scams online! You do not need to waste your money and buy a whole book to tell you the things I am about to say. I have read everything there is out there, and am STILL dealing with anxiety - however, these tips have helped me considerably :

    1) alcohol, drugs, sugar & smoking are major anxiety triggers
    2) thyroid problems, diabetes, stomach issues (hyper acidity etc), anemia, allergies, hormonal problems - ALL lead to major anxiety issues so GO TO A DR before anything else.
    Get your CBC tested, get your thyroid function + thyroid anti bodies tested , get your food intolerances and allergies tested and get your hormones tested.
    3) Bad diet and lack of exercise cause anxiety

    - Ways to control major anxiety (provided it is NOT a medical issue) ;

    1) create a mantra for yourself . i.e borrowed by William Henley - "I am the master of my fate, the captain of my soul" ; by concentrating on this one line, you distract & empower yourself, helping you in times of anxiety.
    2) Breathing : breath in gently from your nostrils counting to 9 , hold your breath count to 3, breath out from your mouth counting to 7
    3) Get up and walk around, preferably change the temperature in your surroundings - if you're in a hot room, step into a cold room
    4) Drink a glass of ice cold water, slowly
    5) Remind yourself that it is an anxiety attack. not a disease or a problem. it's anxiety. sucky, horrible anxiety, but it'll end and you will be fine. that is all.
    6) try 'Yogi Calming tea' (find it in health food stores)
    7) snack on serotonin foods such as : bananas, walnuts, dark chocolate
    Do Yoga and pilates to keep your body activated and to make sure you sweat and tire yourself out
    9) keep your mind creatively occupied with a hobby- paint, read a book, brainstorm ideas for a project, start a creative blog, get into cooking.
    10) Talk to your friends and family, make them understand how you feel.. do not try to 'deal with it' alone.
    11) try homeopathic medication, meditation, reiki & acupuncture ( I have friends who swear by alternative medicine , provided the anxiety is not caused by a serious illness for which you should go to a Dr)
    12) Load up on foods rich in magnesium , B complex, vitamin C , Vitamin D, Calcium and Zinc (these aid in the production of serotonin)
    13) Avoid negative people and places that make you feel shitty - surround yourself with good people, people who make you laugh - people who have your best interest in mind.. people who understand what you are going through and want to help you through it.
    14) Do not overthink! - this is probably the hardest one .. but anxiety sufferers are not 'sick' ; they are prone to getting stuck in one thought cycle , much like OCD patients. However, it is completely possible to force yourself to think of something else and condition your mind to STOP thinking a negative thought before it starts playing in loops in your head.
    practice this a few times a day; when you are thinking obsessively about something, force yourself to begin thinking or something else - something that makes you smile.
    15 ) smile. Just laugh and smile. if you fake laugh long enough, it will turn into a real laugh- and how can you be anxious when you are laughing?
    16) Get enough sleep .. exhaustion can lead to major anxiety so make sure you are well rested.
    17) Have Sober fun! Put down the glass for a night and go out and dance like a crazy person without any alcohol in your system. This is a weird but helpful trick that you should practice a few times a week.
    1 Have sex with someone meaningful. If you are single, curl up with a good porno and have fun; but try to refrain from casual sex when you are feeling weak (unless you are SURE that you can handle it and will not feel worse later)
    19) Pray . whether you believe in something or not.. just try it out.
    20) Finally.. STOP spending so much time searching for answers online. information overload + obsessive searching = a sure way to convince yourself you are 'sick', when you are not.

    If all else fails and the anxiety gets progressively worse - go to a psychiatrist and opt FIRST to get CBT (without medication) , and if that doesn't help , then consider low-dose anti-depression meds . Be warned, anti-depression and anti-anxiety meds like prozac etc are highly addictive and they do not suit everyone ;
    you have to have an excellent Dr and you may have to try several different pills before you find one that works for you. Do not be embarrassed, or afraid of anti depressants . some people need them, others don't . it's OK if you're one of the people that need them. Accept it as a means to a happier life, that is all. be careful not to over dose or drink while on these meds and be PATIENT during the trial and error.

    Regardless. there ARE ways to fight it. ultimately, you will be fine. whether it's through conditioning your mind and body, or going through the trial and error of medication. it's just a matter of what works for you! So don't stress and don't be afraid

    i'm a bit okay now, it's just paranoia, it won't disappear until you confront it, remember you still have your friends and family, and religion & faith helps. I would also recommend meditation, find inner peace and peace of mind. It was just a bad reaction, i just had too many. IT HAPPENS. Plus i just found out i had eye problems, that explains the blurry vision. Take care guys!

    Well... u know if it was your first time you really shouldn't have ate so many.
    eating and smoking are really different eating it can make you really sick...and one bite can contain more thc then if u smoked it.

    You can talk to a professional that can help you deal with your traumatic event.
    also some relaxation videos on youtube might help calm you...try asmr videos.

    It's probably paranoia or a condition that the weed reacted to. Natural weed shouldn't cause these problems

      Weed may not be a cause of death, but it can contribute to someone's ill mental health which may lead them to doing something stupid to themselves or others. You don't just go to the ER for life threatening emergencies, you should go to the ER if you are at risk of harm or harming.
