I'm so pale

I coulda sworn being pale isn't a bad thing? I for one think it's sorta hot lol...

Omg, people often tell me I look soooo pale too! Some people think I look sickly pale. It used to bother me, but now it doesn't. I refuse to go to tanning beds, since it seems to be like you're simply frying yourself in a microwave coffin!

All of my friends, except my boyfriend who's in the same boat as us, are crazy tan (none of them use sunscreen no matter what) and I for one can't do that. I can NOT tan, I just get burned.

Being pale is fine! Don't tan, it's so bad for you! You can try a fake tanner, but I'm super pale too, and it always gets orange on me. If you're really really upset by it, go out for a few hours a day, wearing like SPF 80, and eventually you'll get a normal skin color.

Nothing is wrong with you. Being tan only popularized itself through Coco Chanel with the sun-kissed look. Prior to that it was all about being pale, and still is today in some cultures. I myself am pale and love it. Just grow to accept it and you'll realize that it's who you are and that it's just as beautiful as any other skin tone.

Now I can't speak for those who have androphilia (a totally alien concept to me) but pale women are so beautiful. By logic, you'll get higher quality suitors (think about it), maybe fewer of them. (you'll also get worser bad apples I think, effing humans)

1)are you ginger with blue eyes?? do you have frecles?? if so you could be of scandinavian origen that will explain it.
2)or do you have dark\black hair and blue eyes? in that case you could be of welsh-celtic origen they also are famous for havind pale untannable skin

ok, so my best friend really is very pale, and i mean really white pale! And she has blonde hair , which makes her face even more paler. Btw, shes from Sctoland. It gets her down sometimes, but all i say to her : 'Hun, you're gorgeous, you look like a beautiful china doll.' Funny enough, it always makes her feel happier and more confident. Plus she gets so much boy attention!! I am really jealous. I bet your beautiful, dont underestimate yourself.

maybe ur anaemic? u should go 2 d d doc... start eating more red meat n iron.. make sure u wear spf ..im really pale n irish n ive just learned 2 accept it .. wen ur 50 n ur skins smooth n ur m8s have sun damage ull b happy! wear spf !!!every day even in winter! bad days are just as bad 4 ur skin as hot sunny days..and use bronzer and maybe a darker makeup 2 ur used 2.. go 2 a beauty counter and ask the makeup girls~=)

I'm really pale too, but I don't mind. Seriously, you don't have to be "perfectly sun-kissed" to be pretty. Because trust me, if you're like me and you try to tan, you'll just burn. And trust me, that won't look pretty XD

Go to a tanning salon and discuss the issue you're having with them.
They'll start off your first tanning sessions extremely slow like 2-3 minutes in the bed or booth. Gradually you will get a tan and it's safer than going outside because you can control how much 'sun' you get. Spray tanning no matter what people say will WILL turn you orange.

at least you won't get skin cancer.

there might be some kid of skin pigment problem but your probaly. gonna look good w/o a tan my gf ATM is quite pale while I'm like epic tan and i think she's hot but what I'm trying say is you don't need a tan to look hot ;)

Don't feel too bad, i'm same exact way. I think that if iwas more tan, i'd be prettier too but i can't tan all i do is get really bad sunburnt. So, i know how you feel.

First let me remind you of two things: 1) your skin cancer risk is probably much lower than your tan friends. 2) you'll look younger than those same friends down the road. I don't tan well, if at all, myself. It's not a big deal to me. Also think of the people you know who do go tanning (either in a salon or at the beach). I know several people who look more like old shoe leather than the 'health, sun-kissed' people we see in Hollywood.

I have this same problem!! Try sitting out in th sun a little more every day. Like one day be out there for two minutes, and the next go out for four. Keep increasing by twos each day. Don't stay out too long or you will get burned ;)

Tans make you look old and wrinkly!! I bet you have great skin!

I had the exact opp problem. People used to tease me bc I was a chocolate color. But u gotta learn to accept it. Besides, some people look better without tans ;)
