You know, I've met a lot of heavy set guys who are obsessed with skinny girls and they always complain about those skinny girls never giving them the time of day, like they're entitled to those skinny girls and those skinny girls need to be perfect people and be able to see what's 'good on the inside' of guys. I hate that. I think it's so hypocritical that heavy guys think they're entitled to the skinny chicks and that the skinny chicks aren't good people if they don't want to date them. If you really want to date a skinny goth chick, loose weight. Go through what girls go through to date hot guys. Girls are nicer than guys so yes, sometimes they do see past looks and are willing to date guys who aren't in as good physical shape as them, so maybe you'll get lucky and your personality will shine through, but most likely not. And before you blame the girls for not being willing to date you, ask yourself how often do you see a heavy girl with a hot guy? Guys can be such hypocritical jerks. And because we tend to be nice and wanting to make everyone happy, we tend to let them get away with it. But every time I hear a couple of nerdy over weight guys complaining about how size zero girls never want to date them, and those girls don't know how great of boyfriends they'd really make, I always want to punch them.

I am completely goth and I think it's totally normal. I have all different types of guys and girls that hit on me.. Which is kinda annoying since I'm engaged. All of my goth friends are actually quiet timid when we see other goths because they just look too beautiful. Goths except all times of people, if we didn't we'd have to be huge hipacrites. Just treat us like everyone else and don't point out to us why we look different, yes I know I have pink hair, I dyed it. Act normal and you'll see. Good luck!

Ha, ha, ha. I'm the mirror image of you. I used to date a goth girl. I found her weirdly attractive, but we didn't have any real chemistry. When I was with her, to get going I'd close my eyes and imagine I was with a dark skinned Latina. Not a short fat one, but a dark one who looked very Hispanic.

Goth girls tend to have a really easy going personality and if they are mature then they will hang out with literally anyone. So your chances are WAAAY better than you think.

story- back when I was in highschool. I liked this boy. He liked me too, for a year. He went out of his way to show that he did. He was hispanic and when I asked him out the next year he ran away and hid from me and I never saw him again....I am in the alternative..."goth" as you may call it. Ive dated hispanic guys...metal head and not..."goth" and not..and not all of them were skinny and neither was this guy. He was very steriotypical for the american/mexican culture. I liked him either way.

It upset me actually- his sudden rejection. I felt like he was only after the chace.

Another time... with one of my exs...he was from guatamala...his parents even liked me but he started dressing goth on his own and some kid came up to me at school and said "you turned him goth" :( I never wanted to or expected to...nor would I have changed this guy...if anything I admired him for thinking he was less ignorant of the cultural barrier.

Another time. I was hanging otu with one of my other friends...talking, like we did every morning. He hung out with mostly hispanic crews...minus me....and the girls got snippy and mean and judgemental because of the way I look/dressed/acted..worst of all...because of my skin color...for being a white girl.

It's hard to land a Goth date, even if you are goth. The chances of a goth liking a Normie are very slim.

Goths tend to be pickier because of the high level of intelligence. Since Goth consists mainly of outcasts, freaks, and the wannabes they pick on when they have nothing else to do, you get a lot of entertainment in a goth group. Other groups aren't likely to interest you after you get in.

Overall, though, the majority of things a goth will list off in things they want in a lover come from respect of self and others. Speaking proper English can either be an added bonus or requirement.

If you are willing to do this, you only have one step left. Either,

A) See if the goth lifestyle is right for you. Since I don't suggest wearing tons of black over fat for anyone, consider dieting and exercise. If you can get into a Goth group, chances are they're restless enough to hang out for hours and just walking around.

or

B) Check out "Goth Fetish" and leave the poor Goths alone. Enough people who fantasize about PVC clad fetish girl slapping their asses bother real goth with their distorted views already. Trust me, I have had this happen far too many times. It's not pleasant and your chances of scoring with a decent Goth chick are non-existent. We don't do flings.
