I pour my heart out writing out secrets for SixBillionSecrets.com and every single one gets rejected. I feel like my problems aren't worth care. Then I come here thinking it won't be as bad and most of my submissions get rejected as well.
Is it just me or would this bother you too?
I submitted 2 polls.
One was pure filth, the other was a sensible, clean question and wasn't about sex or anything close.
Guess which post got through??
It seems like you have to write about wanting to have sex with your sister or something else completely abnormal to get it posted here.
I am always in awe at the shit that gets through from the admin. That's normal
I have also submitted several posts of great importance to us all. They too have been rejected in favour of what I call 'meaningless fluff'. Perhaps together, we can resolve this. Please respond.
Can you maybe give an example? A lot of weird stuff seems to get through here, I can't imagine what would get rejected.
I wrote about how when I listen to music w/ headphones in a store people treat me like crap. I didn't think it was that bad.
I have submitted a few stories that got rejected before. Usually I just look at the check list and try to figure out if I did something wrong or could have done something a little better. Make a few revisions and it will probably get through.
I don't want to because I feel like it should've gone through the first time. They say in the email that they're trying to make the worlds best website. Like my shit's not good enough for them. But women getting their pussies licked by dogs is okay?! Fucked up.
my secrets are always silly and neurotic. and they always get accepted on this site. i think one was about being a creeper when drunk and the other about not wanting to be friends with people who didn't like the songs i write and the stories i tell. but two days later when i'm not feeling so silly and neurotic, i delete them.
I've submitted a secret or to on that site before. However, I think that just the fact that someone read your secret and you got it out there is enough. Besides, I've read the comments on that site before and people would most likely be derisive towards your plight than offer any actual support.
