I'm racist toward black people, is it normal?

U need to seriously wake up and look around u, how many other races out there lack the support and resources the "white" people have. If someone is told enough times they can't do something they start to believe it, and it becomes a part of them, that's what has happened to the less fortunate people.
It's exactly your type of mentality that has caused the racism in the first place. And if you think there are no black people out their that are "somebodies" they you need to revise a bit of history. No matter what color your are their are good and bad!

I believe that each person should be judged individually not as part of a group. People who do that should be embarrassed . But I do think that it is wrong that if a white person calls a black person the "n" word the white person is considered racist but if a black person calls a white person a cracker it is totally fine. That double standard is very offensive. Just because something horrible, and I mean horrible, happened to your ancestors doesn't mean you deserve to get any more sympathy than anyone else, that's stuff didn't happen to you specifically. That goes fir every single race asian, white, black, hispanic, indian, etc.

I wanted to say 'no' you're not normal but scrolling through the comments and all the 'im not racist but' responses makes this one a 50/50. Judge others lightly and judge yourself harshly.

As for the liberals that defend what you said uh defend "them" live in houses far away... I agree, I am one of them. I graduated from a high school in the suburbs, but it was not because my family is 'racist', its because like i said earlier EDUCATION. Inner city schools are awful, and it is sad that that is all that is available. But black kids go to my school, and they are all great. I've met black people from the city, they are great, too. Only reason I went to school in the suburbs was because my parents actually wanted me to learn something, and not be an ignorant asshole like you.

Blacks have been discriminated against up till the 60's. It's not like it was impossible, but it was very difficult to get a high education and a white collar job up till the civil rights. Even those do not grant full equality, the work force is still shitty, and no matter how many laws and regulations, some businesses will still discriminate. So, as for wealth and education, it is unfortunate that blacks have not had near the advantages of whites. Now, back in the 60's when public schools started integrating blacks and whites together, white people started moving out of the district. This is why there is suburbs, because once city schools started intergrating, mommy and daddy didn't want little suzie q to got to the same shool as 'that black boy'. Since the white families had more money, guess what schools had better finances? The suburbs, exactly. So the inner-city schools have never been the best. And the parents of these childrend don't make the most money, because (A) a white man/woman will get selected for a job over them, (B) they likely didn't have a good education, because there schools were poorly funded, and education was not a household priority, making a living was. Now imagine coming from parents or a single parent, who didn't have a full education, that don't support your education, that would rather have you stay home and take care of your younger siblings, or work a night job to help get groceries. EDUCATION is the MOST important thing for sustainable change. But edu comes in two folds; your home life, and your access to schools. So kids drop out of high school, try and get a job... now what about crime? drugs, gangs, ect. Well, its pretty darn hard to get a good paying job without atleast a GED, and selling drugs on the street pays a lot better than McDonalds. The criminal record comes from desparation, if you don't give people an education and put them in an environment, where all they defend for is survival, you're gonna get crime. And let me mention that white people have a much HIGHER rate of the demented sick crimes, you know, like hanibal ector. Most of the crimes you mention are from desparation. And the begging as well.

I've been hit by a black person, it's okay to be mad at him but u should think that every black person is the same.. There are just assholes in the world, white and black.

Wow humanity is doomed! I live in Chicago and I'm white, and I gotta say black ppl are ignorant, and rude. Along with the mexicans, and Arabs and all other minorities. U know who is the worst though, the whites. Ignorant, rude, and a sense of entitlement. Bad combo.
People are people, and most people suck. But u have to give everyone a chance or u might miss the few good people out there

People have there opinions about others theres nothing wrong on being racist and noboby can tell you how to feel about another person.. We all are different god or nobody should judge you on the way you feel. :)

I live in a mixed area but being in America a mixed neighborhood means predominately white with a spattering of other ethnicities. If I was to base my perception of others by my own personal experiences then I would feel much the same as you do but towards white people. I honestly don't ever recall being asked for a cigarette by a black person but I literally get asked by a white person every single day. I spent a few months between jobs finding that I had to go to "soup kitchens" because I could barely afford to eat, yes I was a black person looking for a "free meal" but almost everyone else in that line with me were white people. I could easily stereotype white people and their lack of education because where I live the few black families that are there are well educated while most of the white people I know have difficulty with something as simple as spelling (as evidenced by your own spelling mistakes). You talk about being mugged by blacks but everyday on the news we see white people committing all kinds of crimes but we never think of it as a "white thing" but when we see that one black person we immediately make a connection with the crime to their blackness. We black people do it too because 400 or so years of racial conditioning has an effect on populations of people. The fact that you said that you know this does not apply to all blacks shows right there that the things that you mentioned that bothers you has nothing to do with the color of one's skin, they are just things that bother you but for whatever reason you just seem to focus on the black people that do it. You amended your statement about not all blacks with percentage-wise it is more blacks than whites. Percentages require the collection of data then figuring out the mathematical averages of that data to the percentage stats but for most of the things you complained about there is no data to turn into statistics. (Again, if I was one to stereotype I might come to the conclusion that because you don't understand how math works that white people lack education, but I am not one to do that.) There are some percentages we can look at though and that has to do with who is on welfare and who commits the most crimes. There is almost double the amount of whites (40.2%) on welfare than blacks (25.7%), in fact whites get the most welfare out of anybody. Crime statistics are a little more complex which makes it difficult to list quick numbers here but you can look them up for yourself on the FBI UCR reports. These show that statistically speaking whites and blacks are about just as likely to be criminals, with white people actually having a higher percentage than blacks (and higher than any other racial group) in some years.

Maybe in your life there are more black people doing things you personally don't approve of.

Let me ask you this, do all the black people you don't notice factor into this? Logic states that there's a hell of a lot of people out there of every race, creed and culture working hard. But you don't see them..

Maybe the demographic in your area includes more black people. Maybe they are more disadvantaged in that area so are more prominent in public spaces.

Instead of justifying your bias, perhaps look at the entire situation. Use your head. Factor in the demographic breakdown, potential causes of the situation and such.. then make an informed decision as to whether you WANT to be racist or not.

If you choose to be racist.. you will be labeling every black person by those potential troublemakers you meet. You will cease to be pragmatic in view or decision, you will be controlled by bias. Do you really want that?

In addition to all of this, perhaps think about what is important in your life and whether some dude listening to loud music on his headphones really is that important..

why don't you consider that not all black people are dangerous. I've seen some bad from other races, why are you only focusing on black people? so how would you complain on just black people while these white kids shoot inside schools and kill kids so is it fair to just call upon black only??? so I suggest that you study about your own self before you judge the others......

i wouldn't say im a racist against blacks but i dislike a very good amount of them and it will sooner or later turn me towards being racist i never had a problem with them before until i have heard the same thing over and over and i think you guys know this line "its because im black isn't it" plus on the other note alot of black people think they are better then others just because they have a half black president im not saying that there aren't blacks out there who act right and don't act ignorant call me racist idc but it gets tiring hear that line over and over and you can say im full of shit ok idc but i go to school and the majority of the students act just what i explained and it gets annoying

Hello,you may call me psychological. I am new here, and I will answer your question. There is the possibility that you used to be a "non-racist" when you were in grade school. The facts you had described led me to think that. If I am correct, continue on. When you were but a child, you were in experienced within the outside world. Faced with this problem so suddenly, your brain has interpreted this action by the "blacks" of which you speak as a negative. Within your kind of thinking, you've generalized this experience and "stereo-typed" the whole culture. It would be perfectly reasonable to dislike those certain people.
And possibly, to be wary of the people related in that way,but not of that culture. I will not say race,the reason being:We are all of one and the same race- Human.

Your thinking too much im a whole. Yeah it may be a fact that the black race have a higher crime rate on things like robbery, but obviosly thats not all of them. White people do that crap too, same with hispanics and asains. The world is very racist. And not just whites hating people. I have people hate me all the time before they now me just because im white so im dubed as a "stuiped white b:tch". My freinds black and shes dating a white kid and they get crap all the time from random people. Even black people who tell them theyre discusted. So rasism comes from all sides but its important to know its not all of them. What i kinda find really stuiped though is how collages are definetly racist. My parents were alcoholics all my life and didnt give a F if i went to collage or not so never saved up any money for me so i have to work all through collage while other kids have their parents pay fir them, And when i tried to apply for scholarships so i could get some money i got screwed over cus i was white. Even more gay than that, My best freinds hispanic and we applyed for they same scholarships and i had wayy better grades then her, higher gpa, and sat scores, but she got them. And her parents are paying for all her collage

Everyone develops attitudes based on experience. If black people want to cease being discriminated against, then they must cease the behavior you described. As time goes on, less and less black people are being raised in poor, uneducated communities, so things should improve.

I do mostly see black people slagging off white people to be honest...

Im exactly like you, i was raised in an all-white environment and then moved in a big city when i was 18. I used to hate racists now i am one. Theres a big percentage of black people who dont respect other people, they think the world is theirs. Then again i also have black friends, but they dont need to scream when speaking unlike many of them. Now you're thinking, many white ppl act this way too, but the proportion is far from close, at least in my city. I especially have problem with black ppl when driving.

I'm not normally racistist, but I hate it when blacks call whites racist and cruel because of slavery. If I'm not mistaken there were white slaves in Africa for quite some time, yet I don't see any whites complaining about how "cruel" blacks are and demands "specail" treatment like black history month.

With all that being said I'm only racist to some blacks, the majority are ok with me. And also I hate it equaly when white think that blacks shouldn't be here/still be slaves/that whites are better than blacks (same goes for any combination of races)

My point is I only hate people of any race when they're racist or I hate there personality, but mostly I see blacks being racist against white.

This is a tough subject, I mean if people had magazines dedicated to whites only or we had White History Month we would DEFINITELY be called racist lol BUT like you said it's not all black people. Every race has stereotypes including white people but you can't judge anyone on a stereotype. The fact that you recognise that it's not all black people doesn't make you racist, discriminating people because of the colour of their skin makes you racist which is absolutely pathetic. You should revert back to the way you were thinking, we are all equal. You may have been mugged by black people but how many white paedophiles do you see in the world? How many cases of white police officers do you see "accidently killing" black inmates? You have to look at it from all perspectives but I don't think you're racist, have a bit more faith in the human race =)
