I'm paranoid over cameras on electronics

Whenever I'm in front of a camera on any electronic device (such as this ipad) I feel like somebody is watching me, like some government dude, a serial killer or a gay pervert. I feel 85% certain this is not true but I can't help thinking this. I often try to cover the camera with stuff like tape or my thumb, but I don't want other people knowing I feel this way or else they'll make fun of me. Anyone else feel this way and is this normal?

    It's real. The NSA intercepts over 400 million cellular calls PER MONTH. If ur phone or device has a camera and data koan, you are a walking surveillance pod. I run my IP address through dark net and don't supernode when I'm downloading things. Keeps em out of most of my stuff. You can buy an Ethernet scrambler. It's a box that encodes the signal of your IP address so they can't get into any of ur info or use spyware to gain access to ur camera or mic. I used to put tape in all of my devices webcams and integral cams. Xbox actually got a multi million dollar government grant to bundle the kinect with the xbox one for no extra charge for launch. Just so they could see into everyone's living room. It's actually in the user agreement for xbox live AND iTunes AND face book that they can share anything they want with the government without your consent. They can give unlimited access to the attached hardware including but not limited to , webcams, external/internal microphones, key stroke info, web history, transaction information, and all kinds of other crap.

    I put tape over my laptop's built in cam since I heard they can be hacked into and whatnot.

    It's always nice to be cautious.

    I know on my computer I turn my camera up...but I dont put too much thought into cameras on stuff...like your going to be so freaking board if you managed to get control of my camera and are watching me.
