I swear to God, I'm a 22 yo woman and I am lucky enough to be on holiday in Paris and I've had my bum groped on every trip on the Metro and on one occasion twice! Has anyone else had a similar experience because I wear tight skirts so it might be me!?
I'm sorry this has happened. I have no advice other than to try and wear the type of clothing another suggested and if at all possible be mindful of who you stand by. It is NOT your fault, and you did not make it happen. They chose to do that to you, and it's not their place, and I'm sorry. I'm also sorry for these twisted comments saying that it's hot. Take the best precautions you can, but it is not your fault, and I'm sorry that some men think it's ok to take advantage of women like that. I will pray for your future experiences on the metro.
Try to wear extremely casual and loose clothing. Nothing tight or revealing. Especially if you ever travel to Asia too....

Yes but sometimes it goes on for all the time between stops. I've been walking away from the station and one lady pointed out that my zip was undone on the back of my skirt and I know it was up before!
I wear tight skirts but that is not an excuse for some men to feel they can help themselves.
Im not attacking French guys because i have noticed that the guys are mainly middle eastern and African and maybe it's a cultural thing and to be honest I am concerned about what else they might do.
This is a serious crime where I'm from... Every time, tell them to back off, and if they don't get the message, see if a can of mace speaks any clearer. Also see if a different kind of outfit changes things, go with something looser and more covering, never choose shorts or a skirt that don't reach the knee. I wish it weren't true but that kind of person thinks that people who dress a certain way are basically asking for it. You're not, and they're terrible people, but still, try sending a different message.
Yep... totally normal. BE A good girl and let it happen. Have been over there. You have obviously done something to make it happen. Your dress or demeanor or whatever.... you made it happen. Enjoy it.
She didn't make it happen. Maybe they liked what she was wearing, but THEY groped her. She didn't take her hand and make them do it. It's not her fault, and telling her to enjoy it is a little sick.
