I'm obsessed with Eddie Vedder ... I can't stop thinking about him. I dream with him, that he's my friend and that kind of things.
I idealize him and I'm love him or something.
I feel terrible and weird.

I agree. Glenne Headly is MY obsession. And the wierd thing is, I'M A WOMAN! I can't keep her out of my mind. I have pictures of her on my wall that I literally TALK too. I somehow have it in my head that I've met her somewhere, and that shes my friend. I think I LOVE her!!!! My stomach burns whenever I see her pictures anywhere. I think that there is no hope for me.

about 2 years ago i was uber obsessed with martin johnson from the band boys like girls. i even went to a show and met him, and he seemed cool. but i heard a lot of bad rumors about him recently..if it's true he's a shithead. for realz
I tend to have that kind of crazy affection for Alan Rickman, although I can't quite put my finger on how that obsession emerged. Instinctively, I know that he's old enough to be my grandfather, but there's something about his voice and his mannerisms that just ooze sex appeal to me. It's fine to have a healthy obsession as long as it doesn't interfere with your outside life. If you want to love Eddie Vedder, more power to you. Just know when to harness that obsession.
I cannot say that I've ever had that experience quite to such an extent before. I think I've had a few daydreams about Siouxsie Sioux, but that's as far as I ever got with celebrity obsessing.
You know, it is much easier to make someone likeable when we fill in all the blanks with our own imagination. It is why people can feel really enthralled with someone they've been talking to online, only to find they can't stand them once they meet in person. What I'm getting at, is that it's probably not really Eddie Vedder you're obsessed - that is, the REAL Eddie Vedder - but a figure you have made to be the ideal companion for yourself. You're able to keep obsessing because in all likelyhood, the illusion you have created can never be shattered as you're not likely to get to have the opportunity to know him, right. Focus on the relationship you have with real people around you, flaws and all.
