I've been in this country for 15 years. I'm a brown person who speaks fluent English with an accent. It seems to me that most American whites are racially bias. Is this normal?
They ( American whites) do not like blacks. They do not like me. They like to laugh at sick racial jokes as if people of color deserve to be degraded. I love this country, and most of my black and brown friends take these jokes with a grain of salt. I can't seem to do this. These jokes bother me. I know that not all American whites are sick like this, but I find that most of them are. Am I wrong? Am I normal for being upset by these racist people?

    I'm white and am around alot of white folks daily. I haven't heard anything racist for a long while until I read your racist post.

        Um, he says "most of the are" after he's said "American whites are sick like this". This was after making other negative generalizations about people of the white race. That's about as right on the definition of racist comment as you get.

          People fail to realize racism against whites is still racist. Just because whites have been the most priveliged here historically does not mean it's impossible to be racist against them.

              It's mostly because he said "Most white Americans are like this," "They do not like blacks, they do not like me." He made generalizations about whites during the very act of decrying their racism. Technically any type of statement that generalizes behavior by color is racist. That's what racism is.

          He said it SEEMS like. Not that this is just the way it is. And this > "I know not all American whites are sick like this.."
          He acknowledged that it's not all white people. He didn't make full negative generalizations about the whole race. He just explained what he experienced.
