A lot of people worry about how they look and spend hours upon hours trying to look good before going to class. Personally, I don't really care as long as I don't look too ugly. I think my priority is my education and health, and if people think I'm ugly, so what? I'm not in university to get laid, I'm here to learn. Plus 99% of these people will never see me again. I seldom leave my comfort zone to look good or make an impression. You think I'm ugly? Too bad, this is a learning institution, not a party.

Is this a normal attitude?

    I am the same! Every other girl has makeup and looks like they spend ages on their appearance. But like you, as long as I look decent then I don't care.
    However, I am admittedly self-conscious when it comes to other aspects.

    It's not a bad attitute to have. However, it's very hard to obtain and keep. Just because of people lowering the self-esteem of others. Society's potrayal of beauty doesn't help either.
