I'm not gay, so don't say i am!

People tell me I'm gay because I am fixated on someone... But it is not sexual!

is it normal for people to call me GAY after I say I'm not?

Yes. Just because you're fixated on someone doesn't mean you now exclusively want sex with your own gender (or even with the person you're fixated on). I agree with you.

You know what people are like, though.

Calling someone gay can be used as a friendly insult. I always make jokes about how hot certain male celebrities are and my friends call me gay, but they dont actually mean I'm homosexual.

I think i give off gay vibes. Because people contantly ask me the same question.. even tho i say i'm not, some people constanly argue. about it

Infatuation is a obsession with another. However it does not always mean you want sex with them.

Lol. These comments make me laugh. & if you were straight you wouldn't be as defensive.... But like if you feel like thats a strong subject and you dont want people thinking youre gay just be nonchalant about it... Or people are def gonna think ur gay.

    Hiya,

There’s nothing wrong with admiring somebody; nothing at all.

I’ve always thought various musicians were brilliant, it’s just how I was raised, and when I met one of my favourites post-concert, I nearly fell down the venue’s steps. I was so happy. I’ve literally cried listening to this woman, because she is brilliant, and not just the once either. I’ve actually got tears in my eyes typing this comment. I still consider it one of the best nights of my life. This was months ago. If we (you and I) were to meet and you could hear me go on, you’d realise there was nothing wrong with you. Luckily lots of people seem to agree with me.

I don’t know why people think this type of thing isn't not normal. I’ve known people who have no interests at all and have nothing to talk about, and people like me but with different and stronger interests, and I know which type of person I’d rather spend time with.

Even if you were gay, who cares? As far as I'm concerned that's private, and nothing to do with anyone else

The word gay has too broad of a meaning now. It can be lame, homosexual, happy, come on people, we have an entire language full of other words at our disposal!

I have been called gay before because of my man crush on Ewan Mcgregor, but that's just because he is a ballar!

    P.S. Your gay! haha j/k

I wasn't exactly sure what to call it, but I see how that could sound differently than I originally meant it to lolz.

They do it to press you r buttons don't let if get to you you know your not gay and you don't have to prove yourself, so you admire somebody, there's nothing wrong about it. People are just inmature.

I met a friend who was a few years younger than me. I was his only friend and we would do everything together. I took a trip out of state for a couple of months and I was told by everyone that he had a complete melt down. He looked up to me as an older brother and tried to like everything that i liked. Told me that he wanted to be just like me. People started rumors that he was gay and that me and him had a gay relationship together. People are ignorant. He definitely holds his own on picking up the ladies. The deepest gut feeling says dude isnt that way and he would have told me so. People are so fascinated with people that are gay, its a little odd.

I know guys who are not gay but people always assume they are because of the way they carry themselves or whatever. Don't worry about what other people say. You just be YOU!

I went to his profile - he has an obsession/man crush on Mark Zuckerberg. I don't think it means that you're gay, but it's definitely not normal.

It's okay to look up to or idolize someone, but keep those things to yourself so you don't come off as a wackjob.

People just know they can get a rise out of you, if you don't bite back it won't be fun and they'll stop.
I thought you were changing your name?

People just love throwing the term around. "That's gay, you're so gay, gay, gay, gay!" I wouldn't worry so much about it.

That is so true. The word Gay barely has a meaning anymore. Lets think of the word “Gay” like the word “Smurf”.
