I'm not fully okay with my partner?

Been with her almost a year but she's driving me nuts and she's very loud. Like we are out she makes me laugh but we never ever ever have a serious conversation and when we are at a restaurant she will say things to the waiter like can you bring me another napkin , can you send this back to the chef to recook etc.

I'm not sure if this is normal or what I just keep trying to have a normal conversation but it is always just laughing and jokes or poking fun. I feel like I don't even really know her...

Sounds like you started dating her because she made you laugh and she's probably really cute. Now that the honeymoon phase is over, you realize there's no compatibility. It happens.

You got to learn to take things slow when you meet someone who lights your fire right away, because it's just infatuation at first. Infatuation blindfolds you for a few months or years, until one day you're like, "Damn... has she always talked this much?"

    • Thank you but now I feel trapped because I don't know. I don't want to leave her completely but don't feel like I could marry her.

You're not trap, you're just trapping yourself mentally from fear and the, "what if".

You don't have to leave her right away, but dont let this drag on for years. Also, though this will suck, start using condoms; because women can sense when a guy is losing interest and though some are smart enough talk about it with you, others go straight to, "we need a baby to keep us together! Let me stop my birth control right now!"

It sounds as if what's normal for you isn't normal for her and you're not compatible with each other.

What's wrong with asserting yourself in a restaurant, and asking for a napkin, or sending something back?

    • She does it every time and we could have 20 napkins she will sometimes use all of them and she will always ask for the waiter.

... but why is it such big deal? I mean, is she at least polite, because if she asks politely I don't see the big deal. I think it just gets on your nerves, but honestly I don't see what the big deal is, because if she's polite it shouldn't really matter. Ya'll probably just aren't compatible, yanno?

There are some people who that is just the way they are. If it bothers you then you should have a conversation with her about it.
