I'm nervous to go red?

I'm going to take the plunge and dye my hair red( pretty coppery auburn) but have never been red before. I have the coloring to pull it off but I'm a bit nervous as I'll have to change my makeup and maybe even avoid certain colors and clothes. Also am wondering if red hair will make me act more feisty lol?

Red is fun! I've been wearing mine red since I was 15. I did have a year where I was a brunette and several years as a blond in college. Red just feels natural to me even if I'm not a natural redhead. Look at Lucille Ball and Rita Hayworth for example.

Oh yes, you bet I do. All over my body to be sure, however the hair on my head Santa Claus white, as is my beard. Yesterday a little kid in the mall (and yes they do have A mall in my bath tub that I call the Caribbean) looked at me and asked his mom if I was Santa. It was so precious! I just growled at him.

  • Embrace the red. I'm a red head but I always dye it dark brown. I'm going back to red.

I went blue, then to gree, But no matter what... clothes or makeup you would not need to change. Just keep make up at a minimal, when going red, It always looks best, And when I mean 'keeping make up to a minimal', Avoid cheap full band 'fake' eyelashes, Red lipstick (only wear on special occasions), dont wear so much blush or just avoid it, keep eye liner simple (never go to the water line, unless you want a fiesty look) top liner always looks better, keep foundation fresh.

Dont worrry about your clothes, just try not to match colour with your hair.

Normal. Though you don't have to waste time changing your clothes/makeup just because your hair is a different color. I dyed mine purple for years, never changed my style, and it still worked well. I think it's about time I get a bottle of purple hair color and bleach and re-color it.
    :)

Use temporary or semi-permanent dye just in case you dont like it. Red tends to fade quite fast anyway

99% of the time when people dye their hair red it looks awful. Usually only natural redheads have the right colors
