I'm more offended when people insult my race than if people insult me

For some reason, I generally get more offended when people say racist things against my race than when people say hateful things against me. When people online give me personal attacks I just shrug it off, but when people say hateful things against my race I get furious.

Is this normal?

I don't think it is normal to have your identity so tied up in your race that it controls you in this way.

Yes, it's normal. It's easy to shrug off insults about something you have control over. You didn't choose your race.

Sure it's normal, you were programmed this way. Just like white people in the last 50 years or so have been programmed by the far left/libs to feel guilt about their ancestors crimes against humanity.

I assume the people that hate on my race(Caucasian) are just assholes more so than I take offense to them.

That's normal, it also shows that you take pride in what race you are..
Racism is something that makes even calm people angry.

Sure. I think my race as a whole is superior, and people seen to think this means I as an individual think myself to be better than everyone else, which is far from the truth. There are good and bad individuals of every race, but generally speaking, certain races have proved themselves through history to be better at certain things, and so can be ranked against eachother based on contribution to society, same with genders (sexes).

I am actually not offended when people insult my race. In fact I am not that offended when people offend most things I am a part of. However when its excessive it starts getting irritating to listen to. I generally am more offended for other people than I ever am for myself or my race.

    Why get upset at all?
You are just playing into their game. Consider the source and laugh it off. If someone is racist, they are by definition ignorant (stupid, if you are a racist, just to help you keep up) and therefor, their opinion is worth less than nothing. They didn't innovate anything, nor did they think about it and come to a decision; they are only parroting the ideas and opinions of others. Like I said; ignorant!
