I'm in my late 20's but still feel immature

I feel more mature than I was in High School but I don't feel like an adult. I don't relate to my peers really. They too seem immature but in a different way.The conversations that they have just seem like they're blabbering about random stuff. And when I try to talk to them they just act irritable and uninterested. All they do is complain or act nonchalant.

I'm 47 and still immature, but I tend to pay a price for it. Sometimes I can be naive and even idealistic despite my burgeoning somewhat conservative leanings. To be completely honest there's a part of me that would have loved to have remained a child forever. I'm pretty sure that I'm an adult child. Sometimes it's scary to be me.

I'm in my 30's and I haven't matured much from childhood. I don't understand people and can't relate. It sucks. There's probably something wrong with me, like a personality disorder, on the spectrum or just an extreme introvert. But I suspect a lot of people feel less mature than others their age. Just be careful to not compare your private life to everyone's public image.

Ha ha, I'm in my early 70's and in some ways still immature in that I trust people too much. I used to blush a lot in my teens and twenties and I still do occasionally.

I'm your age (late twenties) and I'm often told I need to 'take myself in hand' and 'not be so naïve', 'stop acting like a child', 'stop being so oversensitive'... I never feel like I fit in with folk my age; I prefer hanging around with folk in their fifties. So... I can't say you're normal, but you're certainly not alone :-)
