I have always been told, "Opposites attract." And maybe that's true for some people, but my idea of a perfect girl is basically a shorter, female version of myself. Every crush I've ever had was with a girl who was mostly like me (but sometimes taller). Whenever I meet a guy who is a lot like me, there will be a lot of rivalry at first, but we'll eventually be good friends (or as close to friends as a person like me can get).

Am I in love with myself? I often fantasize a world where everyone is like me. Everyone likes themselves more than they should, but this seems extreme.

    I wanna confess it. I can't handle it anymore.
    Sometimes when I am in my bed, trying to sleep, suddenly this thought comes to my mind. Having sex with myself. I know this sounds stupid. But, i really enjoy it. I fantasize kissing myself, and things like that. That's maybe because I am lonely. I don't now. I don't wanna share this with my friends, they will think i am crazy. Is it wrong to dream things like that? Please help. I really need a suggestion. What should I do? Is it normal? :(:(

    Freud believed people are attracted to others who are like themselves even in looks. So this is pretty normal. Imagining a whole world of people just like you is a little strange, considering that it would be ridiculously boring.

      I don't want a world of people JUST like me. I just wish that they were as generous, clever, and, frankly, good-looking. I'm sick of people tagging urinals; why would they even do that? I want there to be good television. Even if they disagree with me on many issues, just so long as their ideas and ideals are comprehensible to me.

    Ya - it is a bit excessive. But what the hell, better than excesses of self loathing. You seem pretty aware of your slightly narcissistic self orientation. Even amused by it. I'm sure you make successful efforts to see and appreciate all the people who are unlike you.

    I wouldn't want a world full of mes, because then I'd no longer be the best, because everyone's the best. I couldn't outsmart anyone, because I'm really smart.

    Also, reproduction issues. If you were to be the entire population, humans would die out in a generation, due to the absence of the opposite gender.
