I'm getting tired of my friends

One of my good guy friends (who has been telling me he is in love with me even after I told him I don't think of him that way) is just bugging me.
Is it normal to text someone every day? If I post something on snapchat or facebook he has to text me and comment about it. Its not like he doesn't have other friends but he doesn't understand I need my space. I don't want to be rude but I'm thinking of just cutting him out of my life until he calms the fuck down. If I go hang out with someone else and he finds out about it he gets mad like why wasn't I invited? And now I'm going to visit a family member out of town and he's mad that I'm not taking him with me? WTF?
He is very nice but he's just super clingy and I'm not even dating him or anything like that. help please.

So, he's not your platonic friend, he is in love with you and told you so. If you don't feel the same way cut him loose so he can move on. As long as you continue to give him the time of day he will be convinced he has a chance no matter what you say.

    • Its just we were friends before this and him telling me kind of messed everything up. And ever since he told me and I said no he's been so clingy. You really think I should just cut him out of my life? >.< Idk what to do ahh.

          • The more you keep in constant communication with him the more convinced he will be that there is a "chance". The best thing to do is do your best to ignore him. That sounds harsh but it's the only thing you can really do.
