I'm fat...

I want to start losing weight but without exercising..I feel so fat at times an feel that I need to be skinny because i hate the way my stomach area looks..apparently i'm overweight for my height I'm a 19 year old female weighing 140 lbs and is 5'2. I'm actually gonna start tying to lose weight soon by eating less, switching my meat to only chicken, and in some cases skipping meals. I know I'm not the only one out there who has a discomfort with their body image. is it normal that I want to be skinny? I feel like i'll never accept how my body looks.

Please do not post any mean comments..I'm looking for some real advice answers.

    I hate it when fat people refuse to exercise, but continue complaining about being fat. so annoying.

    Also, get yourself a wardrobe that enhances your best physical features and is slimming. DO NOT LAYER UP and don't wear big baggy fat clothes. No big shirts on top of jeans.

    Listen I am actually a nutritional advisor and I work with a lot of women that think eating less is going to loose them weight, that is not how the body works, calories mean shit and should come second to the nutritional content of the food you eat. I always recomend exercise though as it's the best way of increasing your metabolism and getting rid of the fat. If you want any specific advice then I am more than happy to help.

    Hmm. There's one sentence in your post that worries me a little: "I feel like i'll never accept how my body looks." Do you mean that you'll never accept how your body looks now, or that you think you'll want to lose more weight once you've reached your goal?

    Skipping meals will only do damage. try a 1200 or 1400 calorie a day plan. Eat at the same times everyday so your body never goes into starvation mode, excerise often and organize it. You're not fat though. You should be at a healthy weight within 2 - 2 1/2 months at most.

    You're not fat. Anyway I advise that you exercise because people who lose weight by exercising have the more beautiful figures. Their bodies are firm and strong and their skin looks great.

    you wanna lose weight ?read this ! in elementary school there were 2 fat people one EXTREMELY fat chick and one chubby guy. so after the summer i see the guy again and he's lost so much weight so i ask him what did you do ? puke everyday after eating he said. also i heard the ugly fat girl went to another school,did the same thing was super skinny and was actually getting some popularity. nasty ? maybe but hey if you can't excersise..

    Girl, lemme tell you, I've struggled with weight my whole life. I'm your age, an inch shorter, and more than 10 lbs heavier than you. Yeah, there are days I look at myself in a mirror and wish I was thinner, or had an inch less here or there. But there are girls I know that look like little twigs who say that want to be thinner as well.

    Your physical appearance is something you need to learn to love. Wanting/working to lose weight is all well and good, but if you never learn to accept yourself, you'll never be entirely happy.

    Whatever you end up doing, be sure you're losing weight in a healthy way, and don't let it become an obsession.

    Skipping meals won't work, you need three meals a day and snacks too and drink atleast 2 litres of water a day too. Cut out salt and sugar and it will fall off. There's so many eating plans on the Internet. Works faster If you include exercise too and will also tone up your stomach, even if its just walking. Do some sit ups, doesn't have to be too many and give it time. Measure your arms, legs,waist, busts, hips and do it weekly. You'll loose weight, just don't skip meals!

    Skipping meals won't make you lose weight. It will in fact cause your body to slow down and store more fat. Just eat healthier foods, drink lots of water and do some light exercise like walking.

    Focus on being healthy. If you don't like exercising, just incorporate fitness into your lifestyle, e.g. ditch the car and ride a bicycle instead. Ever you ever heard of saying, "Don't lie if you can sit, don't sit if you can stand, don't stand if you can walk, don't walk if you can run?" My best possible tip is: get a job where you are on your feet all the time. Have you ever seen a fat bicycle courier or landscape architect? This really works. Also, slowly taper from high fat/salt/sugar foods to low. Then you won't notice it. For example, buy full fat and skim milk and mix up a 90%:10% full:skim ratio and drink that for a week. Then cut down to 80%:20% the next week, etc. After 10 weeks, you won't even notice that you now drink skim milk. (Actually, I recommend low fat soy milk instead. VitaSoy is a tasty brand.)
    Slim people look better, live longer, are treated better, get employed more often etc. F$%k the "Fat Acceptance Movement". It keeps fat people down. Is there a "Stupidity Acceptance Movement"? No, because we know better than to encourage people who are stupid.
    There is a beautiful slim woman inside of you waiting to get out. I know you can do it. Don't be impatient. Successful weight loss is slow and steady. I lost 2 stone when I was 21 and I've kept it off for 25 years by following my own advice.

    Skipping meals is counterproductive, that will make you gain weight in the long run. Speed up your metabolism by eating a lot of small meals. Eat a snack every couple hours. NEVER skip breakfast. Think about it, if you often skip meals then your body learns to store fat(energy) because it knows that it will need that energy for later. P.S. chocolate bars and coke are not snacks.
