I'm a young-ish woman with very little experience of relationships, dating etc. I've recently developed an obsession with another girl that I know. We're not particularly freinds, but we work in the same place so I see her all day. We're friends on facebook and I find myself looking at her pics in my spare time. I've dreamt about her and often fantasise when I see her. I don't have any romantic/sexual feelings towards any other women so I don't understand why this is! Can anyone help??

    maybe you are actually in love with this one woman. I didn't know I was gay until I feel in love with one of my friends. I avoided it for two years and then finally took action on it. she found it shocking at first but we have been dating for three yrs and planning on getting married.
    maybe you should ask her on a date-ish thing?

    Conservatives would day its not normal at all but when it comes to statistics it is VERY normal. I have been attracted to females pretty much from the age of 13 to now (25). Im not interested in having a long term relationship with any but a fling would be fun. Im pretty sure all of my friends that are around my age feel the same and its not something new. People have been having "homosexual" feelings since the dawn of man its just that now a days people aren't afraid to be real with themselves and others. I would say its very normal.

    Sex isn't always main priority with some people. You fell for someone who isn't a man, but you have feelings for her because you admire her as a person, not as a woman or a man.

    I'm straight, I have a boyfriend, but there have been a few females that I have been extremely attracted to in my life, and it's gone even further than that. I think it's normal.

    It happens. More than you think, because most heterosexuals aren't gonna go around talking about their same-sex infatuations.

    Ever since I realized I wasn't straight, I have a bad habit of interpreting every interest I have in other guys as sexual. So I know how this kind of thinking can screw with your head.

    if you like someone, it doesnt matter about being gay or straight or bi. it's about the individual.
    whether its about love or sex, it shouldnt be constrained by labels so to speak.

    Just try to accept how you feel - a crush or infatuation. Something about her arouses you, though otherwise you don't feel oriented sexually to same sex. They are just feelings - you don't have to act on them, or be freaked out. Your orientation will become clearer to you in time.

    I say I'm straight-ish because even though I prefer men sexually I have been attracted to several girls. Some girls are just really pretty and the eye likes pretty things.

      I love everyone is putting a Ish at the end of things . Maybe your becoming gay, just roll wiht it and ask her if she is taken and if she has a boyfreind and start talking see if she like women ?
