I'm an adult and i want to change my name?

Its more than just not liking my name, I've never felt my name fit me and I don't feel any attachment to it. I read a study that says hearing your own name is the most pleasant sound to a person. I just cringe when I hear mine.
I've always thought about legally changing my name. It would probably be weird...but do you think its crazy if I did? I'm in my 20s.
I found out a girl I work with is actually named Hannah even though she goes by Chloe. Is she can do it why can't I?

    The dirtiest trick ever played on me was played by my own mother when she named me. As soon as I legally could, I changed it to the name of someone in the public eye I greatly admire, despite the name not being from my own culture.

    Why not? Its just a name if you hate it you can change again or change it back.

    I find that when I decide to cast off something about myself that I hate, the hate is still there in one way or another. I've realized that the truth, the constant among all the change, is the self-hatred. It is the only thing I can't change, and the one thing that I'm trying to. Be sure it's the name, and not something else about yourself, that you hate. Or that it's not what hearing your name being called means to you. Maybe it's not your name that you're not attached to, but your own sense of identity. And changing your name won't fix any of that.

    Many people change their name legally, for many reasons. If you are going to do it, don't just start calling yourself something different. Go all the way and make it legal.
