I'm afraid of love, is it normal?

Hi ^^ the question just comes to me. I've been in a relationship ones and on one night stands some more times, my heart has been broken several times too, at the point were I stop feeling "Love", but don't get me wrong, I mean like the special kind of love, I still love my family, the forests, the trees, the people that surrounds me, it's just that I don't love any of them more than any other. I'll treat you the same no matter what you are, a cat, a bird, a slender man, a beautiful girl or a rock. I love them all the same, but when I try to love "Love" someone.. I can't, I just can't and I'm not sure why. Thus somebody else feel the same?

    It can hurt when love someone who doesn't love you.

    I've been single for a number of years now and I had multiple chances to start relationships but I always ended it. I can totally agree to the fact that I love things around me but loving people feels different. Hopefully someday someone changes that for you :)

    I would say it's very normal, based off your previous experiences. A lot of people are afraid of rejection and starting something anew especially when you've experienced it so many times to the point where you feel numb.
