I'm a nice guy but have this side of me

I'm a nice guy, but when I'm in my room working out I turn into, well, a beast. I bench really heavy weights, I slam them on the ground after and I pound my chest and scream "YEAH!" while I pound my chest. I am a very angry guy in the weight room. I closed fist slam on the side of my head and get riled up and do chin ups. I turn into a monster at the gym. IIN?

Definitely normal. Pumping iron is a great way to release the stresses of the everyday life, along with becoming stronger and releasing those endorphins.

It's totally normal. However, if you're at the gym with other people who are trying to concentrate on what they're doing and you're screaming "YEAH!" and slamming your fist into your head, then it's also a little annoying.

Save the howls of iron-pumping fury for your own weight room or an uncrowded gym, please. There's a guy at my local Y who does this, and me makes me jump out of my skin when he thrashes and bangs around like that. Yeah, guy-at-my-gym, I get that you're pumped, but when you startle me so much that my heart rate monitor gets alarmed for my safety, you need to stop!

OP, don't be that guy. :)

It's normal to have another side of you. I know a lot of people like this. I'm like this myself at times.
