I'm a mathematical failure put in general, i'm good at other subjects.

Is this normal? I may not be a mathematical failure, but I think I am.

Yeah, you and about 90% of American students. Most people's brains just are not built to process math but that dosen't mean you are doomed to failure by any means. Even being a complete retard at math I still got in to a good college.

Er...yeah. "mathematical failure" sounds a bit funny though. Makes me think of something that came out inherently wrong because something disrupted the production xD
Stick to saying "a failure at maths."

Okay, that was random of me. Then again, I was only replying to a random story with a random reply.

When I read this I thought you were looking at the situation from a scientific point of view. Not everyone is good at all subjects. Yes math is a hard subject. Perhaps you could get some sort of tutor. It might be that you are over thinking it. I use to be really bad at math till I realized I was just over thinking the equations.

I refused to learn my multiples, and now I need a calculator. I try to pride myself on being better at English :)

You do not need a calculator for times tables. Do you not understand how to count?

You could have a specific learning disability in math.

Yeah not uncommon to be a math fail, and everyone or probably almost everyone has their weak subject. I was really good at algebra, passes the class with almost a perfect score but i barely passed geometry so there are the sub levels of math too.

I'm like that. Actually, when I went to my university's disability services office they said that it was possible to have a learning disability in only one area and that the fact that my math scores are consistently lower than everything else and that I'm not able to remember most formulas unless they're practically engraved into the back of my skull is a pretty strong symptom. However, I decided to not be tested because I just want to endure math for my liberal studies then get away from it and I don't want to spend $200 for another test to say that I suck at math.

why would you be worried about this, though? is it because you're a guy?

I used to fail at mathematics, but I worked hard and now I'm one of best people I know at math.

If you're particularly good at English and reading, you might want to google dyscalculia. Or you might want to check it out anyway. It really helped explainmy math problems.

I suck at math. I'm good at all my other subjects. It's normal to suck at some things.
