I'm a man but i don't care for men's clothing.
I do not know why, but I am never fond of dressing up myself and was never happy with most of 'fashionable' men's outfits. I can see suits or shirt&tie to be tasteful, but semi and/or casual mens wear - I just don't get why those things are considered pleasing. On the other hand, I am rather fascinated by women's clothing -especially casual outfits- and even help my female friends choose their outfits (which, to my understanding, most men despise). I am straight as an arrow, and I have no interest in cross-dressing of sorts. With that being said though, I do think to myself that if I were a woman, I could dress a lot better than I ever could as a man. It is mostly a question of selection - there are bright and pretty outfits for women that I find pleasing; but those outfits I would not dare to wear as a man. In sum, I feel that most of men's clothes I see are dull and unpleasing, and I end up dedicating much of my 'fashion brain' on women's clothes. Is this normal?
