I'm a loner but i enjoy meeting new people, just not the same ones

I'm a loner.

I like to spend most of my free time alone if possible, but not 100% of it (I'd go insane if I were to do that for a few months.) However, in the rare instances when I go to parties or other social events, I enjoy meeting new people far more than building deeper friendships with my existing friends.

I find the act of getting to know new people quite enjoyable but after this initial rush, I find 99% of people to be "boring". So it's pretty rare that I'll follow up and develop a friendship or relationship with the new people I meet unless they just happen to click with my peculiar personality.

I have very few friends but LOTS of acquaintances, which is very apparent from my Facebook profile. Sometimes, I'll even help acquaintances from different circles get to know each other because I simply know so many people from all different walks of life.
