    You're both legal age. Your family is probably just worried about you being with a guy so much older. Probably better off that you're with him though. 18 year old guys can be pretty immature compared to a 26 year old

    As long as its legal, no harm, no foul. It may, however be a sign of emotional or psychological immaturity on his part. Does he behave like a 26 year old, or a teen? Are his interests and humor that of his age? Is his life going somewhere or is he just getting by?

    pretty normal, the age difference isn't even that much. my sisters husband is also like 8 years older and my grandparents differ like 15 years.

    its not like he is old enough to be your father and the older you get the less it matters
