The title pretty much says it all... Her parents are, ok with it, but her father's kinda wary about it. There's no sexual stuff goin on, but friends keep kinda nagging me about it, so I was wondering if it's odd for a 18 year old to date a 14 year old. Thanks in advance.
I will only advice you to be VERY careful.. you could get in real trouble man. Make suer her parents are okay and that you do not cross the line with her, its extremely risky.

In my opinion it depends more on a persons mental maturity than it does age. Some people mature @ 14, while some don't mature until they're 30+.
As long as there is no sexual stuff going on, I'd say it's fine.
My ex is now 19 we started dating when he was 18 and I 14. My dad was okay with it cause he's a great guy but my mum flipped when she found out and made us end it. I was 15 by that time. Me and him are still pretty close friends and I can go to him with any question or problem. I don't think it's wrong.... I'll always cherish the experiences me and him shared ^.^
Dude don't worry about it. As long as you both are happy, aren't doing stupid shit, and her parents don't care fuck what everyone else says. Definitely be careful because if she isn't mature and you realllly upset her she can turn things around and get you in trouble. I've seen that happen and it really messed up his life.
Now; when your age differences are so dangerous, I would consider waiting until she's 18 too. By then you'll be around 22-23 & no one will notice & if they did, nothing they could do about it.
when you are 24 she'll be 20 and nobody will even notice the age difference. Its just four years. If the tittle would have said I'm dating a 5 year old, then that would have been weird and wrong also sinful. Be happy with your partner and if her parents gave her permission you shouldn't worry.
if you're on the same maturity level and have some things in common, 4 years isn't a big age difference. however, it's illegal because you're a legal adult and she's not yet. maybe you should at least wait until she's legal.

I have a friend who who is in this position. I find or fine as long as you are truely into each other. I would definitely wait before sex. It all depends on maturity aswell because age is typically just a number.
I have done the same thing myself date a girl that was 14 and I was 18.. Trust me it isn't going to be anything big.
The problem us not you and her, its the sociaty. Besides, girls mature faster. Now im not saying you should be dating girls of any age.. But if ur girl is mature.. Why not
