I love you

So the other night my Puerto Rican boyfriend asked me if I love him and of course I said yes because I really do he is just amazing treats me like a queen and respects me. After I told him yes he told me that he lives me. Now my question is wouod he just say it to say it or does he really mean it? This is. Big step in our relationship

You probably have a better idea about whether he meant it or not than a stranger does. We didn't hear his tone of voice and we don't know him like you do.

I agree with creampuffs, it really does mean he loves you after all.

If he meant it he'd of just said it. Since he asked you first he just said it because you said you loved him. What was he supposed to say? "Glad you do. Thanks" I'm not saying he doesn't... But def something to ponder on

You know far better than any of us do. You heard his tone of voice, you know the context, you know his personality, you have a far better idea than any of us. I would say to trust him though and see how it plays out for a little while. Keep going with this, mentally track what makes you more certain he truly does love you, and if there's a reason to doubt it, gently ask about it.

Maybe OP is thinking there's cultural differences? ¯\_(O_O)_/¯

I don't think that there's anything to worry about there tho.
