Okay, so i have a BEST FRIEND in whole world.
I'm a guy, and he's also a guy.
We're literally always together because like i said, we're best friends.
Well Whenever we're done texting we always say, i love you.
Or when we're hanging out, occasionally we'll both say " I love you."

Its not like we mean it in a sexual way, its just, we have known each other for the longest time, and we're together every single day.

Is it normal for best friends (who are both guys) to say i love you?

    To answer your question, unlike the anti-Semitic moron that posted an irrelevant comment- yes. It's normal.

    I'm a human sexuality educator, and society is so hypnotized into masculine and feminine roles. We make it seem like men should not only not show their emotions, but to each other as well. Why does everyone get it so twisted by confusing the different types of "love" we feel. Not all love is sexual. There's five types of attractions:

    -sexual
    -emotional
    -romantic
    -relational
    -affectional

    I love many of friends, men and women, that doesn't mean I want to have sex with them. I love my dog. That doesn't mean I want to have sex with my dog.
    I love my parents, brother, and sister. And I REALLY don't want to have sex with any of them. (Ew.)

    What we are really describing it that we care about that person. Only idiots that are insecure with their own masculinity or femininity would think this is not normal. And why would you want to listen to idiots? You let your freak flag fly, sunshine! Love you baby.

    I had a guy friend who used to say that in like a brotherly way. Then again, we did end up fooling around and then I turned out to be gay, so... be careful.
