Was kinda surprised how many younger women actively look for older men. Started when the mustache started to gray, was in the military then and assumed it was just military women only. But not a every day thing to get hit on by younger women but doesn't shock me any more. Damn older does seem to be better at least to some.

I don't understand. The definition of "pedophile" varies from State to State in the U.S., and from country to country. Girls in the Bible married between the ages of 12-14 and the richer the husband the better the match. Most of the rich men were older men. So what you are saying is that if you knew that your local politician decided that a 43 year old shouldn't have sex with a consenting 13 year old, then you wouldn't have had sex with him? Exactly what difference does it make what your local legislators think about it?
The age of consent varies from 16 to 18 in the United States depending on the State. The law does not provide for differences inn maturity. In some States there were so many people being prosecuted as sex criminals that they passed what are called "Romeo & Juliet" laws. Those laws say that it is OK for someone over 18 to have sex with someone under 18 so long as the person over 18 is no more than 2 to 4 years older than the person under 18. (The number of years older also varying from State to State.) In some Sates its just fine for a 13 year old to have sex with a 43 year old so long as they are married and the 13 year old had parental consent to the marriage.
How were all these laws and ages set? They ar4e absolutely arbitrary. Knowing what the word "pedophile" means shouldn't have affected you one way or the other, except to cause you to keep your sexual relationship a secret so as to avoid your boyfriend getting arrested by the Puritans.

Up to you - nothing wrong though I wouldn't deem it normal. You can find common ground & attractions despite the age difference. But it is a reality thats always there & for longer term/marriage/children would be an issue because each is in such a different stage of life.
I replied to a thread like this one that I think it's normal. Actually, I'm not sure it's "normal" but I'm also not sure that normal is always best. As an older man attracted to older women (I'm 42) I'm always careful to make sure that I'm not objectifying the girl (simply being with her because she's younger and not because we have things in common, or geniune interest and affection for one another) or being disrepectful. Finding a man of whatever age who values and appreciates you, shares interests, offers kindness, compassion, attention and respect is important what ever the age of the participants. How many younger guys can offer that? Of course, it should always be legal. :D

Well let me say this. I am an older man of 52 and I crave younger women (over 18) and I fell this is not wrong because it s who i am. I believe that you are normal because what you want is maturity. That shows you are an adult and have put kids games behind you. But it s still ok to act like a kid now and then so just be yourself. The only one you have to impress is yourself.
