I love ghost threads!

I don't understand the stigma on this site agaist replies to ghost threads. There have been legitimate points in time when i have gotten a reply from a random account who didn't even appear on the ghost thread (visibly) reminding me that its a dead thread and that it hadn't be used in nearly 2 months. Is a response to a thread, that may be more than a few months old such a crime? Does anyone actually care? I have some fairly popular stories, months old, that still get replies here and there, and i have no problem with it. If anything it gives a little satisfaction that my stories were that meaningful to others that they would continue to respond even after the "due date".

      me too, all the time. In my opinion it makes the site seem bigger and more vast. why limit things to whats new.
